Dangerously ill/ Home town Tyalgum/ Sydney was a farmer and was quite a young man/ When he signed up for the war he was 18, he would have had a lot of courage and he would have been a down to earth man/ He was single and hard working as farming is not easy/ He was english so he probobaly sounded english but he was proud of his country/ He was a private in the 13th Battalion/ He made it through the war and lived a good long life/ He was a true Australia n and proud of it/
